WELCOME TO ROTTINGDEAN
WINE CLUB

Red Wine

Rottingdean Wine Club is based in East Sussex and was formed in 1973, with the membership made up originally from enthusiasts who made their own wine. Things have moved on since then and the availability, range and popularity of wines easily available in supermarkets, shops and so on is now so wide and varied that there is always plenty to learn and appreciate about wines, their history and role in society. Our meetings include wine tasting featuring local wines as well as those from around the world, and frequently guest speakers who talk on a wide range of topics not necessarily connected with wine. The Club arranges visits to, as you would expect Vineyards, but also places of interest usually within a 60 mile range. We are federated to the Sussex Federation of Wine Makers and from time to time arrange joint visits. This includes overseas trips to wine growing regions in Europe.

The Club meets on the second Thursday of each month from February to November in the Rottingdean Whiteway Centre, Whiteway Lane, Rottingdean at 7.30 pm.  In December we meet for a Christmas Supper at a local venue.
